Recomentations
We believe in the direct relationship between educational excellence and economic development. Global and regional examples show us that large investments in human potential are the best solution to reduce the social contrasts.

Location
Worldwide reach
According to our strategic planning, in 2015 the WEF's global headquarters will be installed in Geneva, Switzerland. The office will coordinate activities of all the other branches around the world, including, of course, the International Education Society (IES).
The United States’ vast domestic economy, transparent legal system, and innovative culture have made it the world’s #1 destination for foreign direct investment. It would be impossible to imagine our Organization without scoring a highlighted presence in the United States. We are choosing New York to locate a representative office and expand the international operations of the World Education Fund (WEF).
So, our initial goal is finding a partner in New York City, offering their facilities to represent the WEF in the United States. The immediate next step is formalize the organization in the country, according to local legal requirements, and the achievement of nonprofit 501(c)(3) qualifying.
IES Welcome Centers
In addition to the WEF regional headquarters in Nairobi, in the next years will be created the first 'Welcome Center' of the International Education Society. This IES Unit will be located in Accra, Ghana, and aims receiving English learners and exchange students. We hope to extend this experience to other countries soon.
For now, the map shows only our future location in Geneva, Switzerland, at The World Education Fund's global headquarter.
